C.H.Prahlada Rao

This site is to intended to commemorate the writings of late C.H.Prahlada Rao, popularly known as CHP, as many continue to evince an interest in his works.

CHP was a well-known journalist, columnist, and writer from Bangalore, India. As a freelance journalist he contributed to many dailies, magazines, and periodicals in his over five decades of writing career.

As a writer, he penned both in English & Kannada, and wrote novels, biographies, and children's books. His translations read as originals than the typical word to word reproduction. As a columnist, his Monday column Between You & Me for THE HINDU, Bangalore edition ran for twenty one years (1981-2001). Find more details under publications, on his other works.
